Our pastoral team cares about people and our community​
MICHAEL DENTON, LEAD PASTOR joined FBC Nipomo in April 2021 with a desire to serve this church and community, becoming the lead pastor in January 2022. He has been in ministry for 30 years and has an extensive background in music, children's, and youth ministry. He and his wife, Katie, have been married for 20 years and have 6 children ages 19 to 2 years old. Their family website is surferfam.com and they love both serving and surfing together.
TOM WILLIAMS, PASTOR EMERITUS came to FBC Nipomo after more than 35 years as a senior pastor of 3 churches in California and one in Colorado. His most recent role was as senior pastor here at FBC Nipomo for over 10 years. We are delighted to have Pastor Tom continue to be part of our church and appreciate the wisdom, experience, and love for people he brings. Tom's wife, Nancy, has a private practice as a licensed MFC therapist, travels widely to minister to missionary families overseas, and has a ministry to pastors' wives on the Central Coast.
